Join us for the first ever Summer Undergraduate Research Institute! This one-day event will feature workshops, panels, and community-building activities designed to help you succeed in a research placement or internship. Students will hone their professional communication and project management skills while learning how to get the most out of the mentor/mentee relationship.
These events are intended primarily for students who are receiving Summer Research Awards through the Office of Connected Learning. If you are interested in attending a specific workshop, please reach out to Dr. Jesi Egan at jesiegan@uw.edu for details.
The UW Bothell Study Abroad Ambassador Scholarship helps to offset expenses required to participate in a study abroad program. Applicants must be current UW Bothell students enrolled in a degree program, residents of Washington State, have a minimum 2.75 GPA, and commit to promoting study abroad opportunities in the Bothell community upon their return as a Study Abroad Ambassador.
Student Research and Capstone Projects Celebrated in Annual Showcase
At UW Bothell’s 2025 Student Academic Showcase, nearly 100 students across disciplines participated to demonstrate their efforts through research and capstone projects and their application to tackle real-world challenges. Ranging from an exploration of female CEO’s positive influence on corporate culture and DEI practices, the development of a hand-sized ECG device for improving heart rate monitoring, to the investigation of perfectionism and self-compassion in Asian Americans, the showcase celebrated students’ commitment to making an impact in the society with their enthusiasm and innovation.
